About Siteline
Siteline is a Series A SaaS startup in the construction billing space. We are a team of 28 full-time employees working remotely across the U.S. and Canada, with a small office in San Francisco.
We are venture-backed, woman-owned, and on a consistent upward trajectory. Our mission is to modernize finance for construction, an industry that employs 1 out of every 10 workers but lacks good software tools to get the job done.
Our Problem
Payments in construction are fundamentally broken – the antiquated billing process hasn't evolved in decades, and construction is one of the slowest industries to get paid in. We've found a unique wedge into this huge market and are growing quickly.
Why We're Building This
Millions of hardworking people are affected by this broken system – in turn making construction more expensive and inefficient for society every year. When everyone up and down the chain is on the same page with payments, contractors can focus on actually building, instead of mountains of paperwork.
About The Role
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us execute and refine our sales playbook from lead generation to closing. Working closely with trade contractors, you'll be an exemplary ambassador of Siteline with customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Direct Sales: Full cycle ownership of all aspects of sales from lead generation to close
- Source Pipeline: Self-sourcing 30% of your pipeline to hit revenue goals
- Accurately Forecast: Ability to forecast your monthly and quarterly performance
- Product Feedback: Sharing customer learnings with the product team
- Create Excitement: Clearly articulating and demonstrating our value proposition, creating enthusiasm among prospects
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience in a quota-carrying SaaS sales role
- Consistent track record of overachievement in tech sales
- Startup ethos – nimble, high-velocity, take initiative, and do whatever it takes
- Strong communication and listening skills and ability to win trust quickly
- Collaborative team player with an optimistic demeanor
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
Brownie Points
- Commercial construction experience – understanding the different trades and activities on the job site
- Experience with best-in-class sales tools (Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, etc.)
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: We provide a salary that reflects your skills and experience, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. For this role, we are targeting a base salary of $80,000 with an OTE of $160,000 and uncapped earning potential.
