As a Senior Sales Development Representative at Medallia, Inc., you will be responsible for building strong relationships with executives at top companies worldwide. About the Role:

As a seasoned Sales Development Representative, you will focus on outbound prospecting and lead generation through creative campaigns and events. You will work closely with our sales team to identify potential customers and develop personalized approaches to address their needs. Your goal will be to consistently meet or exceed qualified opportunity quotas, driving revenue growth in your assigned territory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop opportunities for the sales team from inbound and outbound prospecting and marketing generated leads.
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn with a high attention to detail.
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives.
  • Develop and execute a strong prospecting strategy, including identifying customer pain points and addressing the value proposition in your messaging.
  • Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.
  • Learn Medallia products, effectively communicate the value proposition, and respond to objections and competitive questions.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.
  • Share opportunities with appropriate Sales Directors, educating them as necessary about the opportunity.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on driving attendance to events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
  • Partner with your field sales team as a prospecting subject matter expert, providing best practices and executing on projects specific to your territory.

What We Offer:

We provide a dynamic work environment where employees can grow professionally and personally. The estimated salary for this position ranges between $48,000 and $67,000 annually, with additional commissions eligible based on performance. We also offer competitive health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), short-term and long-term disability insurance, life and AD&D insurance, statutory leaves, paid parental leave, and paid holidays. Benefits may vary depending on location and role.
