Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Client Relationship Consultant to join our team at U.S. Bank. As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with clients, engaging them through multiple channels, and providing exceptional counsel while adapting a digital-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust, assessing and attending to customers' banking needs, and recommending solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with clients, and maintaining a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions, and developing collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications, while leveraging available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
Preferred Skills
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
