Position Overview: Regions Hospital is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on Oncology to join our team in a full-time, daytime role.

Role Responsibilities: In a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting, you will deliver professional nursing care that encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation, adhering to the standards set by the Oncology Nursing Society and our institution.

This role involves care coordination, addressing patient needs, and effective communication with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice teams as necessary.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess an associate degree in nursing with a minimum of one year of RN experience, or a bachelor's or master's degree in nursing. A year of hospital nursing or equivalent experience is required.

Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is preferred, or the willingness to obtain it within one to two years of employment. Alternatively, successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours during each Commission on Cancer accreditation cycle is required.

Experience in oncology care or an outpatient oncology clinic setting for at least one year is essential.
