Key Position Details:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible surgical oncologist with fellowship training to join our multidisciplinary team. This full-time role involves a call schedule of 1:4 weeks, focusing exclusively on surgical oncology and breast cases. The on-campus team comprises experienced surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, and dedicated support staff, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.

  • Engagement in weekly multidisciplinary tumor board meetings.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients to enhance their health and well-being.
  • Practice with consideration for cultural diversity and individual autonomy.
  • Participate actively in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Engage in quality assurance and peer review processes.
  • Utilize quality improvement tools to enhance patient care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree required.
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Oncology fellowship program.
  • Board eligibility or certification required.
  • Active medical license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain.
  • Ability to secure DEA certification and National Provider Identifier.
  • Compliance with credentialing and hospital privilege requirements.
  • BLS certification required within 180 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:
Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
