Job Summary:

HealthPartners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a full-time, day shift position in our Coon Rapids Oncology Clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide professional nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation, in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-centered care, addressing individual needs and communicating effectively with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the care coordination team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience or completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing or Master's Degree in nursing.
  • One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience required.
  • Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willingness to obtain within 1 to 2 years of hire or successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each Commission on Cancer accreditation cycle.
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin (or received within 1 year of hire or have documentation showing it is in-process within 6 months of hire).
  • BLS through AHA certified program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year in oncology care or outpatient oncology clinic setting.
