Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning correctly
  • Identify systems or components that may have caused issues
  • Perform vehicle test drives and check fluid levels, refilling as necessary
  • Verify tire pressure for optimal inflation and clean and lubricate fittings as required
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to team members
  • Maintain high efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Proactively repair or replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns
  • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools for various tasks
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and quick diagnostic skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic tools
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • ASE Certification or Technical Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in a service department
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
