About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor with Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics Field Sustainment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising aircraft production, providing technical assistance, and setting maintenance priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate with the host squadron, advising on schedule requirements and production issues.
- Manage general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines.
- Create and assign work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplish aircraft safety of flight releases.
- Supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment.
- Ensure workforce follows technical instructions and safety practices.
- Advise management on work status, material availability, and potential production problems.
Requirements
- 6 years minimum fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and flight line operations.
- Overall fighter experience must include at least 2 years F-35 aircraft maintenance experience.
- Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Experience with programs such as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, E-Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management.
Desired Skills
- F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience.
- Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience.
- Understanding of USN Maintenance Practices.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Effective communication skills for coordination at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance. The successful candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Security clearance.
