About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at MGM Resorts International. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, optimizing service standards, and achieving our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations, including labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and guest service standards.
  • Implement policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, and training programs while ensuring compliance with the company's standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, and employee satisfaction.
  • Engage with guests frequently to ensure a high level of satisfaction and react promptly to any concerns or complaints.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between the kitchen and dining room.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menu items, and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant managerial experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Previous work experience in high-volume or upscale restaurants is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team while maintaining excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of service steps and customer interaction protocols.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interact with guests, management, and staff.
