Job Overview

Samsung SDS America is seeking an SAP MM Analyst to enhance our collaborative environment that supports the SAP framework utilized for various administrative business operations. This role involves engaging with front office teams to address their inquiries and requirements effectively.

This full-time position is pivotal in supporting SAP and proprietary applications that align with the operational needs of one of North America's leading semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration: Tailor SAP MM modules to fulfill business demands, focusing on procurement, inventory management, and logistics workflows.
  • Process Enhancement: Evaluate business workflows and propose enhancements for increased efficiency utilizing SAP MM capabilities.
  • User Support: Provide ongoing assistance to SAP MM users, addressing issues, rectifying system errors, and advising on best practices.
  • End User Assistance: Aid end users with any SAP MM, master data, and proprietary system-related challenges.
  • Data Management: Oversee and maintain data interfaces between SAP and legacy systems.
  • Project Coordination: Lead new initiatives, monitor timelines, and engage in SAP MM-related projects, including upgrades and new implementations.
  • Financial Closing: Participate in month-end closing tasks, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with headquarters on unresolved issues and work with various departments for smooth operations.
  • Documentation: Develop diverse documentation, including training materials and process guides.
  • Training Development: Create and conduct training sessions for end-users and produce detailed documentation for system setups, processes, and protocols.
  • Integration Efforts: Collaborate with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP FI/CO) to guarantee seamless integration and data accuracy across the organization.
  • Compliance Assurance: Uphold adherence to company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements in all SAP MM-related functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of practical experience with the SAP MM module, encompassing configuration, implementation, and support.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP ABAP programming language.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Expertise in SAP MM module configuration and customization.
  • Strong grasp of procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Preferred: SAP MM certification.
