Infosys is looking for a Senior SAP Materials Management Consultant

This role necessitates a specialist contributing to various stages of the consulting process. You will be deeply engaged in business process analysis; you will identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement them effectively. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the design, configuration, and execution of comprehensive solutions. You will mentor teams on project methodologies, deliverables, and assist in proposal creation, client education, and internal skill enhancement while helping to define project parameters.

Essential Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to three years of relevant experience in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology is required.
  • U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Sponsorship is not available at this time.
  • This position requires a commitment to working from the office on a daily basis.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the SAP MM module, including participation in 2 full life cycle implementations of S/4 HANA.
  • Proficient in analyzing business needs, delivering both conceptual and detailed designs to fulfill those needs, executing necessary SAP configurations, drafting detailed specifications for the development of ABAP custom programs, and testing and deploying automated solutions.
  • Strong practical experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration, and system integration is essential.
  • Familiarity with B2B Integration and system-to-system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interfacing methods is crucial.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces, and user exits is vital.
  • Experience with Master Data projects and Enterprise Portal is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret ABAP code is necessary.
  • Capability to write functional and technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces.
  • Collaboration with business users to define project scope and gather requirements is essential.
  • Testing and deployment of the final product is required.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are important.
  • Effective planning and coordination abilities are necessary.
