We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mentoring Site Specialist to join our team at Sierra Vista Child & Family Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing mentoring programs at designated sites.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, supervise, and implement program goals, objectives, and activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure program mentors and mentees comply with regulations and policies of partnering agencies and Sierra Vista Child & Family Services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with program participants, site staff, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness.
- Coordinate daily program operations, including setup, planning, and site maintenance.
- Provide direction and guidance to mentors, monitor their arrivals, departures, and absences, and coordinate mentor schedules.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, absentees, and emergency information on all children enrolled.
- Assist in the recruitment of mentors and maintain a culture of quality and safety.
- High School diploma or GED and 12 units of Child Development or related field required.
- AA in education, child development, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with youth in a comparable setting.
- Experience working with staff, volunteers, and school-aged children preferred.
