Job Responsibilities

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. This role will act as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional security officers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising staff on assigned shifts, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges.
  • Coordinating the delivery of quality services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Preparing written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Reading and understanding all operating procedures and instructions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Meet licensing requirements, which are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
  • Pass a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • Have intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
  • Be able to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
