Customer Service Specialist Job Description

This role is crucial to the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring maximum client satisfaction while consistently meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products and services, ensuring they have a seamless shopping experience.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, contributing to the store's overall success.
  • Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and applications, enabling you to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, ensuring store displays are attractive and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
