Position Overview:

Under general supervision, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I is responsible for conducting a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal and obstetric/gynecological imaging, using advanced ultrasound technology and transducers.

  • Enhance the turnaround time for outpatient diagnostic imaging reports.
  • Focus on improving workflow processes, inter-departmental communication, and staffing efficiency.
  • Service Excellence:
  • Achieve a telephone service factor standard of 80% for incoming calls answered within 2 minutes.
  • Prioritize service quality, staff training, and efficient workflows.
  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives, aiming for a decrease in non-payroll expenses by over 5%.
  • Utilize recommended corporate supplies to optimize operational costs.
  • Access Improvement:
  • Enhance patient access to ultrasound services.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Exhibit professionalism and responsiveness to patients and colleagues, fostering a positive departmental image.
  • Address member concerns proactively and maintain a respectful workplace.
  • Ethical Standards:
