Role Summary:This position reports directly to the SVP of CRM & Analytics and is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of services from the Analytics team to various stakeholders within EBG. The Senior Manager of Analytics Operations serves as the liaison between the Analytics team and internal clients, articulating the team's needs to EBG's technology divisions to facilitate the enhancement of analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Submit development and implementation requirements on behalf of the Analytics team to various technology departments to enable new data collection, reporting, or analysis and address any issues; conduct user acceptance testing on deliverables.
- Manage the Analytics team's Jira ticket queue by reviewing requirements for completeness and feasibility, collaborating with requestors to refine specifications, assigning tickets, monitoring progress, and updating prioritization based on stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain a roadmap and calendar for testing and optimization, prioritizing requests, recommending and initiating testing, and tracking progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Project Management teams to comprehend the business and technical context for Analytics projects, anticipate future needs and challenges, share analytics best practices, and expedite analytics implementation.
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 4+ years of progressive responsibility in project management, delivery management, or product management roles focused on data or analytics workstreams.
- Proficient understanding of how analytics platforms, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, gather website data, integrate with third-party tracking, and generate reports.
- Familiarity with database operations and architecture.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong grasp of data architecture and best practices in testing and optimization.
- Ability to draft functional and business requirements for technical audiences.
- Capability to quickly grasp program business objectives and their implications for tracking, measurement, and analysis.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and adapt priorities based on business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports and influence cross-functional peers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, and Adobe Analytics.
- Background in e-commerce, live entertainment, travel, or hospitality industries.
