Nurse (STI Case Manager) Specialist

The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a skilled Nurse (STI Case Manager) to join our team. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $95,645 - $124,335 per year.
About the Role- This role involves providing comprehensive nursing services to individuals and families affected by Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
- You will serve as the Community Health Nurse for STIs at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, NM.
- Provide case management for patients with positive STI results and their close contacts.
- Review laboratory results, monitor for adverse reactions, and make referrals as necessary.
- Treat positive STIs and their partners at office and field visits, adhering to standing orders and interpreting laboratory tests.
- Conduct field contact investigations for STI outbreaks and collaborate with local health departments, tribal programs, and CDC as needed.
- Plan, implement, and provide health education to individuals and groups on communicable diseases.
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual STI surveillance data and complete reports with visualizations.
