Santa Fe Recovery Center, Inc is a leading provider of substance use disorder and mental health treatment services. We are seeking a Crisis Support Worker to join our team at our Gallup offices.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 per year, with additional benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, ST and LT disability, pet insurance, and an opt-in 401k plan.

Job Responsibilities

The Crisis Support Worker will be responsible for providing structure and support in the Crisis Calming Center (CCC) for individuals served by the Recovery Center. This includes crisis intervention, program admission, screenings and evaluation, and referrals to behavioral health and medical services.

Key Duties:
  • Work with the Crisis Intervention Specialist and other clinical staff to provide crisis support services to clients.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 service provision.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to promote crisis stabilization and referrals to services.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency or crisis situations.
  2. Cultural understanding and awareness.
  3. Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
  4. Computer experience and knowledge of MS Office.
Education and Experience:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Preferred: certified Peer Support Worker or case management experience.
  3. Must have and maintain a valid NM Driver's License and clean driving record.
