We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Staff Today in Gallup, New Mexico. This is a contract nursing job that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Job: As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients in a Long Term Care setting. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medications, treatments, and wound care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members and caregivers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Long Term Care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
