About the Role

Tecovas is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience for first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike. As a Tecovas Sales Associate, you will support the store leadership team in creating a store environment that caters to an unmatched customer experience. You will provide outstanding service in all aspects of the sales floor, including greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, cash wrap, restocking, and overall shopkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a Sales-Driven Environment: Foster a genuine customer experience and demonstrate extraordinary service standards.
  • Store Team Support: Assist the store team with receiving shipments and preparing products for floor placement.
  • Inventory Management: Plan, track, and communicate all in-transit shipment information to the leadership team.
  • Stockroom Maintenance: Maintain an efficient and well-organized stockroom, ensuring accessibility to employees.
  • Restock Process: Assist in and/or lead the restock process to continually maintain store stock levels.
  • Loss Prevention: Demonstrate loss prevention awareness through assisting in cycle counts and transfers.
  • Staff Education: Participate in ongoing staff education and share product knowledge.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of the building facilities.

  • Exceptional Selling Skills: Possess exceptional selling skills, customer service, and clientele.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Exhibit an independent, proactive, results-driven work ethic.
  • Character and Honesty: Possess utmost character, honesty, and transparency.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Physical Demands: Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods, reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel while organizing and stocking inventory.
  • Customer Service: Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Lifting: Able to lift up to 30lbs regularly.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
  • Availability: Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week, weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), evenings, and holidays as needed.
