We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Helper to join our team at Carthage Central School District. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our district facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
- Assist with custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities
- Operate a variety of equipment, including vehicles and power tools
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective maintenance and repair of facilities
- Valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
This is a full-time position, working 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The salary range is $19.17 to $20.13 per hour.
