Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform a range of repair and maintenance duties for homeowners and businesses. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a handyman or general maintenance worker and possess knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct repair assessments and provide guidance to customers
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems with light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Purchase materials as needed and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Explain completed work to customers and collect payment
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a handyman or general maintenance worker
  • Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
  • Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of Woof Handyman services
  • Own a set of basic carpentry tools, cordless drills, hand saw, crimping tools, wrenches, hammers, etc.
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must be able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels, and under crawl spaces
