Human Services Specialist

As a Benefit and Eligibility Worker with WorkSource Oregon, you will play a critical role in providing a safety net that supports better outcomes for Oregonians. You will be responsible for determining eligibility for people applying to various Self-Sufficiency Programs through interviewing, gathering, and assessing information.

- Provide resources that support family stability and connect Oregonians to careers
- Work in a fast-paced environment using various computer programs
- Interact with a diverse range of customers with compassion and professionalism
- May require a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record or other acceptable method of transportation
This is a permanent, full-time position represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). You will be stationed at the Corvallis Branch to provide in-person assistance to Oregonians. The ongoing work schedule is M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
RequirementsExperience working in a human services setting and proficiency in computer programs are required. Prior experience working with diverse populations and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are preferred.
