Position Overview: The Financial Operations Associate plays a crucial role in managing customer requests related to payment processing, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH/internal transfers. This role also supports the funding team with the daily reconciliation of cash disbursements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a banking environment or a degree in Accounting/Business
  • Strong numerical and basic math skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation: $30 - $44 per hour

Work Schedule: First Shift, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Education: High School Diploma

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process incoming customer service inquiries via phone, email, and mail
  • Execute daily postings to the sub-ledger for various payment methods including checks, wires, ACH, and internal transfers
  • Assist the funding department with the daily reconciliation of cash disbursements
  • Investigate items to ensure accuracy in disbursements and totals
  • Support the bank's billing operations
