About the Role

The Propulsion Systems Engineer Lead will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of propulsion systems for our launch vehicles. This includes designing, testing, and optimizing propulsion systems to ensure they meet the required performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop propulsion systems, including rocket engines, fuel systems, and control systems
  • Lead the testing and validation of propulsion systems to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems with other vehicle systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in propulsion systems and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in propulsion systems engineering, with a focus on rocket propulsion systems
  • Strong understanding of propulsion system design, testing, and validation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
