About the Role

At Hotchkiss Insurance, we're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and servicing an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service
    • Act as the main point of contact for all service needs of your assigned book of business.
    • Assess and evaluate renewal requests for compliance with underwriting guidelines, providing assistance when needed.
  • Account Management
    • Work with Account Associates to ensure tasks related to assigned accounts, including binding coverage, invoicing, and collecting premiums are handled properly.
    • Focus on client retention, working collaboratively with the Sales Consultant to ensure a high retention rate.
  • Communication and Administration
    • Manage customer requests and correspondence related to assigned clients, covering desks for the team as needed.
    • Stay informed about rates, forms, and coverage changes, and acquire knowledge of the company's submissions and proposals process for policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Property & Casualty insurance license required
  • 5+ years of Account Management Experience
  • Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools
