Job Title: Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects in the Beaufort, SC market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Construction Project Manager to ensure successful project execution.
  • Supervise construction personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is proceeding safely and professionally.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports and field documentation to stakeholders.
  • Manage project punch lists with subcontractors and customers.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities, including scheduling and attending municipal inspections.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors and vendors across various trades to ensure specifications are met.
  • Regularly review contract documents with team members and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
  • Track and manage closing documents, including RFIs, Submittals, and Punchlists.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience supervising all phases of building construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in commercial construction.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and timely with customers, vendors, management, and other stakeholders.
  • OSHA 10/30, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred.
