Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of heavy mobile equipment mechanics in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of equipment maintenance and repair
- Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services
- Monitor and report on equipment performance and maintenance metrics to inform business decisions
- 5+ years of experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance and repair
- Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in leading high-performing teams
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy mobile equipment systems and components
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
