Medical Laboratory Technician

As a Medical Laboratory Technician at Kootenai Health, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by collecting and processing blood samples for laboratory analysis. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using phlebotomy techniques
- Verify patient information and prepare samples for laboratory analysis
- Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Phlebotomy certification or training preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds; maintain a standing and/or sitting position for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment
