Position Summary
The HR Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering a workforce that emphasizes service, equity, and respect. The primary duties include overseeing employee documentation, credentials, attendance, and personnel requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely execution. This position also encompasses general administrative responsibilities such as drafting communications, maintaining files, and generating reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Human Resources Director in executing departmental functions to ensure that the organization’s HR needs are met in accordance with internal, state, and federal regulations.
- Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes, including scheduling, organizing, and participating in pre-employment activities, HRIS system training, and paperwork completion.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements regarding vaccinations, OSHA standards, and injury management.
- Support the management of disciplinary actions, documentation, and maintenance of personnel records.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee retention and engagement initiatives, including scheduling and coordinating activities.
- Assist with recruitment efforts as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a related field.
- Strong organizational abilities are essential.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Capability to work effectively and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exemplary representation of the company’s core values through professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
This is a full-time role, operating from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility in hours may be required based on business demands, particularly during peak periods. Occasional out-of-state and overnight travel may be necessary.
