Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of caregivers, providing guidance, coaching, and recognition to ensure excellent resident care and services.
- Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, and execute the overall operation of the Assisted Living neighborhood, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living standards.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-quality team of caregivers, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional resident care.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the community follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise standards, related to resident care and services.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Partner with the leadership team to ensure the community is in compliance with OSHA requirements and other regulatory standards.
- Experience: Minimum one year of supervisory/management experience in assisted living or long-term care, including hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and supervision of daily operations.
- Education: BA/BS degree may be required based on state requirements.
- Skills: Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to handle multiple priorities, delegate assignments, and maintain a dedication to seniors and their well-being.
