Key Responsibilities
Excellence in Customer Service:
Address client inquiries and requests regarding insurance policies, coverage options, billing, and claims in a timely manner.
Deliver precise information and advice to clients concerning the various insurance products available through Farmers Insurance.
Assist clients with modifications to their policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
Client Relationship Development:
Establish and sustain strong connections with clients to comprehend their insurance requirements and preferences.
Proactively reach out to clients to confirm their satisfaction and resolve any concerns or issues.
Inform clients about policy features, advantages, and additional coverage options tailored to their unique needs.
Administrative Functions:
Accurately and efficiently process insurance policy applications, endorsements, and related transactions.
Keep organized client records and documentation in accordance with agency standards and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with agents and underwriters to address client inquiries and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Sales Assistance:
Support agents in cross-selling and upselling insurance products to current clients.
Identify opportunities for policy reviews and enhancements to improve client retention and satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
Work in conjunction with agency team members to meet overall agency objectives.
Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to broaden knowledge of insurance products and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service, ideally within the insurance sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with computer systems and insurance agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic).
- Possession of a valid insurance license (or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
