The Position:
Congo Brands is seeking a Product Information Management System Specialist.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's product information management system, ensuring the accuracy and distribution of product data across various platforms, including Salsify, BOX, and other syndication channels.

This role will also involve collaboration with system owners to ensure effective PIM system and data integrations, data flow, controls, and processing within the overall systems ecosystem.

This is a full-time, in-office position at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the PIM system, including Salsify and BOX, to ensure efficient product data management.

- Implement and maintain integrations, data mappings, flows, controls, and processing with all PIM-integrated systems.

- Work closely with IT, product teams, and the commercial team to ensure effective product data syndication across various retail channels.

- Develop and enforce data governance policies to uphold high-quality data standards.

- Provide training and support to users on PIM system functionalities and best practices.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Manage the integration of new products and updates, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all platforms.

- Create and maintain documentation for PIM processes and procedures.

- Analyze system performance and suggest enhancements to improve user experience and data quality.

- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in PIM systems and data management technologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, or a combination of education and experience. Experience in global consumer packaging (or similar) is preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in product information management.

- Extensive knowledge of PIM systems and data syndication processes.

- Comprehensive understanding of supporting product data throughout its lifecycle.

- Proficiency in Salsify, BOX, and other relevant PIM and data syndication tools.

- Experience in managing/supporting product information within the customer support chain and manufacturing ERP is highly preferred.


- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all functional areas related to product management, including Creative, Innovation, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Compliance, Customer Supply Chain, e-commerce, and Sales.

- Strong understanding of data structures, standards, and best practices in product information management.

- Demonstrated experience in managing large datasets and complex data environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and training abilities.
