Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma ER - Emergency Room Supervisor

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Trauma ER team as a Unit Supervisor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical operations and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
  • More than 2 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience specific to the focus of nursing unit preferred.
  • Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN.
  • BSN or MSN preferred.
  • BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire.
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
