Senior Manager of Commercial Insights

This hybrid role is focused on leading the analytics function within the Commercial team at AbbVie.
About the Role
The Marketing Analytics and Business Insights (MABI) team is integral to AbbVie's US operations, comprising a diverse group of researchers, analysts, data scientists, and strategists dedicated to excellence in the biopharmaceutical sector. We act as strategic advisors, ensuring that our decisions are informed by the valuable insights we generate.

Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Manager of Commercial Analytics for Oncology, you will report directly to the Director of Commercial Analytics. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. **Enhancing Brand Understanding**: Strengthen the brand team's grasp of market dynamics and opportunities by analyzing physician, account, patient, and competitive data at both national and regional levels.
2. **Strategic Partnership**: Collaborate with brand and sales leadership to align marketing strategies with key priorities, ensuring effective execution across marketing and sales teams.
3. **Investment Strategy Development**: Create data-driven promotional investment strategies aimed at maximizing returns on marketing expenditures.
4. **Insight Communication**: Deliver clear and impactful insights to a wide range of stakeholders through exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
5. **Sub-national Analysis**: Conduct detailed regional analyses and present key findings to senior leadership and marketing and sales teams.
6. **Business Issue Identification**: Recognize and address critical business challenges related to product performance, integrating diverse stakeholder perspectives and all relevant information.
7. **Analytical Results Communication**: Effectively convey the outcomes of complex analytical models and influence decisions to enhance brand performance.
8. **Marketing Investment Modeling**: Lead the development of models to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of promotional initiatives.
9. **Innovative Analytics**: Utilize advanced analytical models to tackle significant issues while adhering to essential business and technical criteria, including cost, risk, and impact considerations.
