We are currently in search of a Manufacturing Engineer to become an integral part of our team. This position will focus on enhancing efficiencies in safety, quality, productivity, and cost management within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess self-motivation and a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and innovation.
Core Responsibilities- Identify and implement process enhancements aimed at minimizing costs and waste while improving safety and product quality.
- Lead initiatives for change through effective training and collaboration with production teams.
- Employ methodologies such as 80/20 and Lean Manufacturing to facilitate improvements.
- Offer troubleshooting assistance for production processes and machinery.
- Design new components and layouts to maximize operational efficiency.
- Oversee capital projects and assist with maintenance activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering)
- 2-5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks software
- Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma principles, and automation technologies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to thrive in a hands-on setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
