Manufacturing Process Engineer

Medical Murray is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for performing equipment and process transfer from product development to production, as well as implementing process improvements utilizing Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and other relevant lean manufacturing tools.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with Medical Murray's Quality system, including all applicable SOPs and the Manufacturing Training Matrix.
- Develop and implement process enhancements in production to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support the transfer of products into production after completion of transfer design review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing processes for acceptable throughput and yield to achieve cost targets.
- Train assemblers on new or modified assembly procedures during production.
- Manage process validation following master validation plans, including IQ, OQ, PQ, gauge R&R, and software validation.
- Support capabilities studies and analysis of data during production.
- Coordinate the design of custom equipment, fixtures, devices, and processes to meet customer requirements, improve quality, and reduce cost of manufactured products.
- Acquire, set up, and install qualification of new equipment introduced to supported product lines.
- Support equipment maintenance, as appropriate per skills and knowledge, and manage escalation to the Technology Manager.
- 3-5 years of experience with manufacturing and process engineering, with a preference for medical device manufacturing.
- ISO experience, cGMP, and ISO 13485 are preferred.
- Six Sigma Certificate is preferred.
BS in Engineering is required, with a preference for BS in Mechanical Engineering.
