Fleet Mechanic Job Description

ADUSA Transportation is a leading transportation company providing services to a major grocery retail supply chain. Our team is dedicated to supporting the supply chain network evolution by delivering fresh and nonperishable products to local brand stores and returning recyclable items to recycling centers for processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform major repairs, including engine, transmission, accident damage, and rear end repairs within the transportation truck shop.
  • Ensure a functional and operational transportation fleet through regular maintenance tasks.
  • Repair and maintain refrigeration equipment as needed.
  • Repair major structural damage to trailers, refrigeration systems, and components.
  • Perform welding functions as needed.
  • Solve electrical and brake problems, and perform compressor preventive maintenance.
  • Repair tractors, warehouse equipment, and external engines.
  • Strive to find more efficient ways to perform tasks and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Perform Truck Mechanic B requirements and major preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Read and interpret shop material.
  • Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting work groups or distribution centers.
