Job Summary:

Fleet Mechanic - Heavy Equipment Repair

ADUSA Transportation is a leading transportation company providing services to one of the largest grocery retail supply chains in the nation. We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team in the transportation truck shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all major repairs, including engine, transmission, accident damage, and rear end repairs.
  • Perform all maintenance tasks to ensure a functional and operational transportation fleet.
  • Repair major structural damage to trailers, refrigeration systems, and components.
  • Perform welding functions as needed.
  • Perform all functions of a Truck Mechanic C, including basic service line functions.
  • Solve electrical problems, brake problems, and compressor preventive maintenance.
  • Repair all tractors, warehouse equipment, and external engines.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret shop material.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
