First Western is in search of a Senior Vice President of Investment Management

As a Senior Vice President of Investment Management at First Western, you will be instrumental in guiding affluent clients towards their financial aspirations. Collaborating closely with our dedicated teams, you will provide integrated solutions that surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for investment management clients, fostering trusted and enduring relationships. Ensure client satisfaction through timely responses to inquiries and proactive outreach for regular reviews.
  • Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of the Profit Center's investment portfolio by advising clients with a comprehensive approach that incorporates all banking products and services.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking and consultative selling, contributing to the overall growth objectives.
  • Lead and support sales initiatives for new opportunities, coordinating the preparation of proposals and presentations, and ensuring thorough follow-up during the onboarding process.
  • Formulate asset allocation strategies for clients, adhering to enterprise-wide guidelines regarding portfolio performance and composition.
  • Utilize cash flow and wealth planning tools to strengthen client relationships and enhance the bank's market share.
  • Drive investment product strategies and initiatives as needed.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new associates, as well as mentoring other Portfolio Managers and Investment Associates.
  • Maintain compliance with operational policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard assets, including monitoring exceptions and conducting asset reviews.
  • Engage with the community through philanthropic efforts and professional networking.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master's Degree (MBA) is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

7-10 years of relevant investment management experience is required; 5-7 years of experience in business development within the local market is also required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is required upon hire.

Compensation Range: $137,000 - $206,000/YR

Classification: Full-Time Exempt
