Heavy Civil Construction Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Civil Construction Specialist to join our team at Allan Myers.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on various heavy civil construction projects, including highways, bridges, public water and wastewater systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install interior piping using flanged ductile iron, PVC glue-joint, copper and stainless steel press-fit.
- Perform concrete hammer drilling for anchor installations.
- Rigging and large/heavy material movement using material handlers and cranes.
- Complete installations using layout and instructions provided by Field Manager.
- Scaffold erection, manlift operation, working at heights and within fall protection.
- Concrete demolition using air and electric tools.
- Metal and pipe cutting using abrasive blades on grinders, portabands, etc.
- Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
- Cleans tools, materials, and work areas.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
- GED/High School diploma or related work experience.
- Trade School a plus.
- Valid Drivers License required.
