Position Responsibilities:

This role is essential for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Shelter. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research to identify funding opportunities and drafting compelling grant proposals.
  • Creating marketing materials for foundations and corporate partners.
  • Collaborating with team members on various projects, meetings, and events.
  • Maintaining organized records and files, both electronically and in paper format.
  • Preparing correspondence and proofreading documents for accuracy.
  • Managing cash and donations responsibly.
  • Providing hospitality to visitors and acting as a liaison with other departments.
Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing and editing abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
