Account Executive Job Description

Emerald Resource Group is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and growing a client base through strategic sales activity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and Present Services: Effectively research and present our services to new and existing clients, including mid-sized organizations and Fortune 500 companies.
  • Penetrate New Business: Penetrate new business with key IT client managers and senior HR executives.
  • Generate New Business: Generate new business through telephone calls and participation in networking organizations/events.
  • Expand Existing Client Base: Successfully expand existing client base.
  • Maintain Pipeline: Maintain a consistent pipeline of existing and prospective business.
  • Secure Qualified Opportunities: Secure qualified opportunities from existing and new clients.
Requirements:
  • Strong Sales Background: Strong attitude, aptitude, passion, and experience in sales.
  • Account Executive Experience: 3+ years in an Account Executive role within professional services.
  • Account Penetration: Strong account penetration/business presentation/effective sales and marketing background.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Proven sales track record - Account Manager/Business Development New Business.
  • National/Mid-Market Accounts: Ability to develop and grow national and/or mid-market accounts.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Competitive, energetic, and self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred.
