Position Summary

This position centers around three critical business functions: Asset Management, Construction Oversight, and Facilities Maintenance Support. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring that all locations deliver an outstanding experience for members, minimizing disruptions related to facilities or equipment. Responsibilities include providing guidance and training through regular site visits, managing external contractors, and overseeing facility operations. This role requires flexibility for both in-person and remote work, along with occasional travel, and reports directly to the VP of Finance and Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively mentor and lead facility operations remotely, fostering a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement.
  • Maintain effective communication with executive leadership, regional management, and club personnel to ensure alignment and teamwork.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key external vendors to secure high-quality services for maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate with landlords to manage and expedite significant repairs, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Implement and uphold rigorous quality assurance standards across all facilities, ensuring a superior environment for members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive facility-related initiatives and meet organizational objectives.
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance facility processes; effectively train studio management on these processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage the timely repair and replacement of equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and member satisfaction.
  • Manage specific aspects of studio merchandise needs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational requirements.
  • Supervise subcontractors and overall project status during studio openings, relocations, and closures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-4 years of experience in facility management and maintenance, along with relevant certifications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of major mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts.
  • Proficient in project coordination, scheduling, and evaluating vendor bids and invoices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to customer service and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Experience in developing training programs and implementing process improvements.
  • Adaptable and responsive, capable of independent problem-solving in a dynamic work environment.
  • Collaborative team player, able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
