Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Gem. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers to determine their individual needs and recommend solutions to meet those needs.
  • Sales and Loan Transactions: Meet and exceed sales and loan goals, perform buying, selling, and loan transactions, and handle cash and debit transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to store and OSHA standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate Gem's policies and legalities to customers, and communicate with senior staff and managers in a professional and respectful manner.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Computer Literacy: Competency in using a Windows computing environment, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of customer service experience, with a preference for cash handling experience.
