Position Overview: Clinical Educator for Community Education
In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Education to evaluate the educational needs of staff members. You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and assessing educational initiatives that cater to these needs. Additionally, you will create learning opportunities for patients, families, and the broader community, ensuring that these experiences are suitable for their age, cultural background, and psychosocial requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify the learning needs of healthcare staff.
- Design and implement educational programs that address identified needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
- Facilitate learning experiences for patients and families, ensuring cultural competence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Completion of coursework or training in Nursing, EMT, Lactation, or Childbirth Education.
- Possession of a California Fire and Life Safety Card from a recognized organization within 30 days of hire.
- 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare specialty such as EMT, Lactation, or Childbirth Education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.
