SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Saint Louis University Hospital. As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, and quantitative sensory testing.
Key Responsibilities- Perform standard and complex EEG and evoked potential recordings according to established lab protocol and guidelines set forth by the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
- Summarize patient neurological status and clinical history, and complete documentation needed for physician interpretation, including history sheets and labeling of tracing.
- Record clinical evoked potentials in auditory, visual, and cervical and lumbar somatosensory modalities, and record clinical nerve conduction velocities and quantitative sensory testing.
- Perform long-term epilepsy monitoring to evaluate patients with paroxysmal disturbances of cerebral function.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent training.
- 2 years of experience performing EEGs, NCV, and EPs preferred.
- R.EEG T credential required within 18 months of hire.
