Job Title: EEG Neurodiagnostic Technologist II

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in Missouri, as an EEG Neurodiagnostic Technologist II. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team of neurologists and neurodiagnostic technologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement workflows, policies, and procedures related to new or changed technology or services within Neurodiagnostic.
  • Perform academic and routine inpatient and outpatient neurodiagnostic EEG testing procedures at both BJH and SLCH.
  • Evaluate and audit EEG quality, leading performance improvement initiatives using LEAN principles to achieve the highest standards of quality for EEG procedures.
  • Perform electrode maintenance and impedance checks to ensure EEG quality and troubleshoot EEG recording technology as needed.
  • Validates physician orders, enters relevant patient history information into the EEG recording system, and archives EEG testing data.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • R. EEG T. licensure
  • 2-5 years of experience in EEG and neurodiagnostic technology
