About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Liaison to join our team at Children's Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between healthcare providers, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and process emergent and non-emergent requests from providers for transports, direct admissions, Emergency Department referrals, and consults.
  • Utilize quality improvement measures and lean standard work to improve communication of patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to expand knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve patient placement and throughput.
Requirements
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience; 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • One of the following: Licensed Emergency Med Tech MO, Licensed Emergency Med Tech KS, Licensed Paramedic KS, Licensed Paramedic MO, Certified Nurse Aide MO, Certified Nurse Aide KS, Licensed Practical Nurse KS, Licensed Practical Nurse MO, LPN Multistate License, LPN Multistate License Kansas required upon hire.
  • OR Professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Required Upon Hire.
  • CFC (Certified Flight Communicator) per IAMTCS Preferred.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $21.93/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
