Pediatric Health Specialist

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in foster care by joining our team at the Spurwink Center for Safe and Healthy Families.
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide thorough health assessments for children birth through age 18 recently placed in the foster care system.
The ideal candidate will have excellent pediatric physical assessment skills, knowledge of growth and development, and the ability to elicit an appropriate medical history and history of presenting concerns from the child's caretaker.
Responsibilities will include performing physical examinations, medical record reviews, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive care plans for individual clients.
The successful candidate will be well-supported by our team of psychologists, social workers, and child abuse pediatricians, and will have access to a robust benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and more.
Qualifications include a PNP or FNP with pediatric experience, licensed in the State of Maine, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to vulnerable populations.
